Fighting Food Waste

- Flash-frozen freshness: Each meal is cooled, sealed, and flash-frozen within an hour. This rapid process not only locks in flavor and nutrients but also extends shelf life, meaning fewer meals are wasted in landfills.
- Right-sized portions: We design meals that fit real lifestyles; no oversized trays, no unnecessary bulk.
- Extending shelf-life also means fewer deliveries wasted in transit, fewer trays used overall, and a smaller footprint compared to traditional meal prep.
Packaging With Purpose
Packaging is one of the most significant sustainability challenges in the food industry, and we’re addressing it with transparency and innovation.
- Recyclable trays: We use FDA-approved, BPA-free polypropylene trays (Type 5), safe for both microwaves and recycling streams where accepted. Our goal is to reduce plastic use wherever possible without compromising on quality or safety.
- Vacuum-sealed technology: By eliminating excess trays with our Protein Packs, we reduce the total plastic used per meal while maintaining safety and taste.
- ClimaCell insulation: Our boxes are lined with ClimaCell, a recyclable, curbside-friendly alternative to styrofoam. It keeps meals safe in transit without adding to landfill waste.
- Recyclable cardboard & dry ice: All of our delivery boxes are 100% recyclable, and dry ice sublimates safely, leaving no waste behind.
- A shorter supply chain means fewer stops between our kitchen and our customers.
